The beginning of another travel-story: This time, the first person I speak with after boarding a plane to America is not in fact about getting off at the right destination, and I have an honest, albeit, embarrassing feeling that I have stumbled across an important, unique, or interesting example—perhaps in a new, obscure genre—of travel writing I myself have never encountered before. Or so it seems. Here, then, are some of my very first articles. First, there was, of course, that story I wrote after I arrived with my backpack, but now, here it is:

A few days before my flight to Florida, I sat quietly and wrote a short story called “Pilgrims in the Wilderness” in English. It’s on my blog under the title “A Novel of a Pint-Sized Trip.”
Pilgrims in the Wilderness, like all of mine, is for friends and acquaintances. Maybe someone is in the audience tonight, maybe someone is going to read this, and maybe you’ll hear what happens next.
