In the absence of any other good news, I took the opportunity to vent about flying. It just seems like such a trivial subject and yet it’s such a huge problem, so many airlines are desperate to find a way to make a profit of it. I have friends who have family going through their personal hell of a life with the high cost of flying and the very real potential of being stranded for days on end. The more I think about it, the more I feel helpless and scared. Here is the truth of the matter: the cost of flying is still far greater than the price of food, fuel, etc. There is simply no way we could find a way at any cost to minimize these costs.
